Narrative

The narrative for this movie is about 3 friends and a brother in law going to Las Vegas for a bachelor party, as the tile refers, they wake-up the following day from a night of drinking, and cannot remember what had taken place the night before. The comedic turn here is that during the un-recalled night of drinking, they have also lost the groom. So they go in search all over Las Vegas trying to rethink their steps, because the groom is going to be wed the same afternoon.

The Opening

The opening title of this movie is a slow sweep of the camera showing wedding preparations, people rushing about carrying food, flowers, decorations etc. Until the camera focuses on the bride, which is when we find out that the groom is missing. Which she is told over the phone from one of the grooms best friends, the news leaves the bride in shock. Her angry and partially panicking words are “you’d better find him”.

Narrative Enigma

The narrative enigma is where has the groom gone? And what the hell did they do in Las Vegas?

Diegetic

The diegetic sounds are of the cop car they stole.

Non Diegetic

Non diegetic music is played at the end showing what they did in Las Vegas, the music is fast and upbeat which goes with the Las Vegas theme.
