Narrative

The narrative is a documentary showing the downfalls of medical attention in America.

The Opening

The opening shows a man sewing up his own wound because he can’t afford to go to the hospital, which then follows a man telling us a story of how he lost his fingers and he could only get one of them sewn back on because having both of them sewn on would have cost him an amount that he could not afford.

Narrative Enigma

Narrative enigma is what is wrong with the American medical system? And what finger will the old man choose to get sewn on?

Diegetic

The diegetic sounds of the boat taking sick Americans to Cuba for medical attention.

Non Diegetic

The non diegetic sounds are of sad music following with the tragic stories people are sharing.
